In Japan crossdressing and playing with gender is no big deal.
Birdo from the Mario series is a male. Gracie was originally male, but from what I gather they all the sudden changed the gender to “female” for ‘Merika. Bob is probably just chillin in some girl clothes. Obviously fabulous.
